Course Drops & Course Withdrawals

Students may drop a class or classes during the official summer drop/add through through their MyCharleston student portal.

If a student voluntarily withdraws from a course before the official withdrawal deadline (this deadline is not related to the refund period), the grade of "W" is entered on the student's record. The "W" will not affect the student's GPA.

To withdraw from individual courses with a grade of "W," students should access their MyCharleston student portal to withthdraw themselves by the withdrawal deadline. For assistance with this process, please contact our office via phone at 843.953.4831.

Extended Summer Saturday, June 10
Summer I Monday, June 19
